Chrysler has confirmed US pricing for its 2011 model-year 200 sedan and Town & Country minivan, as both vehicles arrive with substantial updates aimed at improving appeal in the competitive family car and minivan segments.

2011 Chrysler 200 Sedan pricing and features

The 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan is available in four trims: LX, Touring, Limited and the S model, which arrives later in the cycle. Pricing starts at $19,995 for the LX, including a $750 destination charge. The Touring model is listed at $21,995, while the Limited comes in at $24,495, both also inclusive of destination. The S trim’s price was not immediately available at launch.

The 200 receives a substantial exterior update, with new front and rear fascias, a redesigned grille carrying Chrysler’s new winged badge, and LED lighting elements in both headlamps and taillamps. The bonnet, mirrors and rear deck lid are also new for 2011. Inside, buyers can expect improvements to materials and refinement, part of Chrysler’s broader effort to reposition the brand after the Sebring’s poor reception.

Under the bonnet, the 200 offers a choice between a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and Chrysler’s new 3.6-litre Pentastar V6, the latter providing a more competitive power output for the segment. Both engines are paired with automatic transmissions, with the V6 expected to deliver improved performance and refinement over the outgoing powertrains.

2011 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan pricing and equipment

Chrysler’s Town & Country minivan line-up for 2011 consists of Touring, Touring L and Limited models. Prices begin at $30,995 for the Touring, $32,995 for the Touring L, and $39,495 for the Limited, all including an $835 destination charge. This places the Town & Country at the upper end of the mainstream minivan market, reflecting both its standard equipment and Chrysler’s push for a more upmarket image.

  • Touring: $30,995 (inc. $835 destination)
  • Touring L: $32,995 (inc. $835 destination)
  • Limited: $39,495 (inc. $835 destination)

For 2011, all Town & Country models come equipped with Chrysler’s SafetyTec package, which bundles more than 40 safety and technology features as standard. These include advanced multi-stage airbags, electronic stability control, blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection, aiming to address family buyers’ priorities. The minivan also benefits from a revised suspension and upgraded interior materials.

Market context and model positioning

The 200 sedan’s pricing undercuts many rivals, targeting buyers who might otherwise consider Japanese or Korean alternatives. The Town & Country, meanwhile, competes directly with the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna, both of which had also launched revised models for 2011. Chrysler’s emphasis on safety and interior upgrades is a response to criticism of earlier models and an attempt to regain ground in a segment it once dominated.
