Acura has released US pricing for the 2016 ILX, with the entry-level saloon starting at $27,900 before destination charges. The new model, now available to order, features a revised powertrain lineup and a streamlined range of trims.
Standard equipment and options
The base ILX includes LED headlights, 17-inch alloys, a sunroof, and heated front seats as standard. Inside, buyers get dual-zone climate control, leatherette sport seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat, and a six-speaker audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity. Acura’s contrast stitching and a multi-function steering wheel complete the package at the entry price point.
A Premium Package is available, adding a power passenger seat, perforated leather sport seats, an upgraded audio system, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Premium model is aimed at buyers seeking more comfort and technology without stepping up to the sportier trims.
A-Spec tops the range
The A-Spec variant, priced from $31,890, brings a more aggressive look with 18-inch alloys, fog lights, a rear spoiler, black headliner, and sport seats with suede inserts. Aluminium pedals and unique interior details set it apart as the performance-inspired option in the ILX lineup.

All versions of the 2016 ILX use the same 2.4-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder, producing 201hp and 180lb-ft of torque. Power goes through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, a notable upgrade over the previous generation’s options.
