AVUS Performance Unleashes 460hp Audi TT RS Upgrade
German tuner AVUS Performance has transformed the Audi TT RS with a 460hp package, revised suspension and a striking matt black finish, pushing the coupe deep into supercar territory.
AVUS Performance has revealed a comprehensive upgrade for the Audi TT RS, raising the coupe’s output to 460hp and 472lb ft of torque. The German tuning house claims the modified TT RS can sprint from 0 to 60mph in around 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 194mph, figures that put it in contention with some of the quickest cars in its class for 2009.
The starting point is Audi’s own TT RS, which in standard form delivered 340bhp and 332lb ft from its 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbocharged engine. AVUS Performance has overhauled the turbocharger, recalibrated the ECU, and fitted a new exhaust system with racing catalytic converters. The result is a 120hp increase over the factory figure, with torque up by 140lb ft.
AVUS has not stopped at the powertrain. The TT RS receives adjustable coilover suspension, allowing for a range of settings from fast road to dedicated track use. The car sits on 20-inch gloss black Sportec Mono wheels, shod with 255/30/20 Hankook S1 Evo tyres, giving it a more aggressive stance and improved grip. The wheel and tyre package is priced at €6,400, while the coilovers are listed at €1,299.

Visually, the AVUS TT RS stands out with a matt black vinyl wrap, available for €1,999. The company says other colours can be specified on request.
