Kahn Design reveals bespoke BMW X6 styling package
British tuner Kahn Design has unveiled a comprehensive visual upgrade for the BMW X6, featuring new bodywork, interior customisation and signature alloy wheels.
Kahn Design has launched its latest tuning package for the BMW X6, focusing on a dramatic overhaul of the car’s appearance inside and out. The British firm, known primarily for its work on Range Rovers, has turned its attention to BMW’s large SUV with a suite of bespoke styling changes.
The exterior package is built around a wide-body look. Extended wheel arches give the X6 a more aggressive stance, while new side sills finished with chromed elements and Kahn branding add further visual width. The front end receives a new bumper and a ventilated bonnet, both designed to set the car apart from standard BMW offerings. At the rear, the kit includes a revised bumper and additional styling elements to complete the transformation.
Kahn’s approach is not limited to the bodywork. The interior of the X6 is reupholstered with leather surfaces featuring diamond stitching, and the steering wheel is finished in Alcantara. Carbon fibre inserts are used throughout the cabin, and the instrument cluster is also customised, in line with the company’s focus on bespoke luxury. The modifications are intended to create a sense of exclusivity for buyers seeking something more individual than the factory specification.
No powertrain changes announced
Kahn Design has not announced any changes to the X6’s engine or running gear. The package is focused entirely on aesthetics and interior ambience, rather than performance upgrades. This approach is in line with some other recent styling-led projects in the sector, such as the BMW X6 M Performance Editionunveiled earlier in 2012, which also prioritised visual enhancements over mechanical changes.
