A rare Koenigsegg One:1 finished in matte blue has been photographed at the Goodwood circuit, drawing crowds during a recent track day. The Swedish-built megacar, limited to just seven production examples, was the centrepiece of a dedicated photo shoot that underscored its appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
The One:1 is named for its remarkable 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, delivering 1,341PS (986kW) from its 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Weighing just 1,341kg, the car produces 1,371Nm of torque, and Koenigsegg claims a top speed of 450km/h. Acceleration is equally dramatic: 0–100km/h is achieved in a claimed 2.8 seconds. The car made its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and has since become one of the most sought-after hypercars of its era.
Performance and exclusivity
The One:1's combination of extreme power and low weight puts it in a category above most supercars. Its carbon fibre construction and advanced aerodynamics allow it to compete directly with the fastest models from Bugatti, McLaren and Ferrari. The car's presence at Goodwood, one of the UK's most prominent motorsport venues, attracted attention from photographers and onlookers, highlighting its rarity on British roads.
While the ultimate destination of this particular example remains unclear, only one One:1 was officially delivered to the UK, reportedly through the BHP Project. Each car was built to order, and the model's scarcity has made it a fixture at high-profile events and private collections.
