A Ferrari 599 GTO with just over 4,000 km on the clock is being offered for $749,000 at a Long Island Ferrari-Maserati dealership, reflecting the car’s status as one of the most exclusive and desirable front-engined V12 Ferraris of the modern era.

Finished in Rosso Scuderia with red brake calipers, gunmetal grey wheels and a black interior, the car is presented in a specification that will appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike. The low mileage and condition suggest it has seen little use since new, making it especially attractive to buyers seeking a near-factory example.

Limited production and performance credentials

Ferrari built only 599 examples of the 599 GTO globally, making it one of the rarest models in the marque’s recent history. Announced in 2010, it was the most powerful and fastest road car Ferrari had produced up to that point, with a 6.0-litre V12 producing 661 hp and 620 Nm of torque. The GTO was 100 kg lighter than the 599 GTB on which it was based, and it completed a lap of Ferrari’s Fiorano test track in 1 minute 24 seconds.

  • 0–100 km/h in under 3.3 seconds
  • Top speed over 335 km/h (208 mph)
  • 100 kg lighter than the 599 GTB

The 599 GTO’s rarity and performance have kept demand high on the used market, with prices for low-mileage, well-specified cars consistently above their original list price. This particular example’s asking price reflects both its condition and the ongoing appeal of limited-edition Ferrari models.

Collector appeal and market context

With only a handful of 599 GTOs changing hands each year, values have remained strong, especially for cars with low mileage and desirable specifications. The car’s status as the ultimate front-engined V12 Ferrari of its generation, combined with limited production, has made it a fixture in high-end collections. For comparison, the earlier 599 GTB commands lower prices but lacks the exclusivity and performance focus of the GTO.
