Maybach 62 S: Luxury Saloon Flagship

The Maybach 62 S, introduced as the performance-oriented version of the standard 62, is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 612 PS. The 62 S was aimed at buyers seeking maximum comfort, rear-seat luxury and a powerful driving experience. Its extended wheelbase and bespoke interior placed it among the most exclusive saloons available in 2008.

At launch, the 62 S was one of the few vehicles in its segment to combine limousine-level comfort with genuine performance credentials, reflecting Maybach’s ambition to challenge established names in the ultra-luxury market.

SLR McLaren 722 Edition: Supercar Heritage

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition, also featured in the video, was a limited-run, uprated version of the standard SLR. Its name referenced Stirling Moss’s victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia, car number 722. The 722 Edition boasted a supercharged 5.4-litre V8 engine producing 650 PS, revised suspension, larger brakes and unique styling details. It was capable of 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds, making it one of the fastest road cars of its era.
