Porsche Macan GTS Prototype Spotted Testing Hard at Nürburgring
A camouflaged Porsche Macan GTS has been filmed lapping the Nürburgring ahead of its expected debut, revealing key performance upgrades over the Macan S.
Porsche’s upcoming Macan GTS has been caught on video undergoing high-speed testing at the Nürburgring, providing the clearest look yet at the performance-focused SUV ahead of its official reveal. The prototype, wearing light camouflage, was filmed tackling the circuit’s corners and straights, confirming that the GTS badge will soon join the Macan range.
The Macan GTS is expected to slot between the existing Macan S and Macan Turbo in Porsche’s line-up. Sources indicate the GTS will produce between 360 and 370hp, using an uprated version of the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6. This places it above the 340hp Macan S but below the 400hp Macan Turbo, giving Porsche a direct rival to performance variants from other premium SUV manufacturers.
