The first image showing the interior design of the new generation Skoda Fabia has just been released by the Czech based automaker.
The model in question has received a typical Skoda configuration on the dashboard but the overall layout is functional and all the buttons are where you would expect them to be. You find the headlight switch on the left side of the dashboard, the infotainment system in the middle, the climate control under it, the classical air vents in the center, a multi function steering wheel, gauges similar to the ones used on the previous generation and what seems to be some aluminum trim covering the mid-section of the dashboard.
The cabin space has been stretched by 8 mm, to 1,674 mm and this is being translated into a more spacious interior. Despite this, the overall length of the vehicle has decreased by 8 mm. The new-gen Fabia is offering the biggest trunk in its class, 330 liters, 15 liters more spacious than before, and with the rear seats folded, this can reach an impressive 1,150 liters. The load area stands in at 960 mm, 20 mm more than before. The 2015 Skoda Fabia will be introduced during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. You can read more about it here.
