BMW has been busy of the last couple of years trademarking and some of the names which might be adopted by its future models are the M7, the M10, the M2 or the 2-Series.
The company didn’t say anything about future models just yet but while Audi has the S8 and Mercedes-Benz making the S-Class AMG for some time, the current BMW 7-Series has some catching up to do and it seems that the M7 will hit the market, probably with the next generation of the luxurious model. Besides the M7, the German based automaker has also trademarked the M10, which is expected to come as a future supercar with the BMW logos on it.
There is no official word on these models for the moment from the company and we must remember that even if the names have been trademarked, it’s not mandatory for BMW to use them. According to the guys at the Bimmer Post, besides the M7 and M10, BMW has also trademarked the M1, the M2, the 2-Series, the GC and many more, which can be found in the list below.
