Toyota has announced that the GT 86 sports car has received a new aerodynamic package, developed by the Japanese based automaker.
Right after the accessories for the Toyota GT 86 have been introduced in Germany earlier this month, the Asian sports car is once again highlighted, this time with the car manufacturer announcing a new aerodynamic body kit for the model. Future owners of the Toyota GT 86 can now order the Japanese sports car with a more aggressive look, obtained with the help of a large rear wing, which is improving the vehicle’s handling by pushing the back to the road at higher speeds, new side skirts, diffuser and slightly modified front and rear bumpers.
The new body kit offered by Toyota is currently available in Australia only, but there is a big chance that this will be launched worldwide eventually. The price for the new upgrade package has been set at 3,000 dollars and it’s available for both versions, with the manual or automatic transmission. The Toyota GT 86 is still powered by the same Subaru boxer engine, with the 2.0 liter displacement, generating 200 HP and 205 Nm of torque, mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
