The 2015 BMW 6-Series range has been slightly updated in the United Kingdom as the carmaker is announcing.
If you’re not a BMW fan chances are you won’t even notice the differences between the current 6-Series range and the updated one, but even so, we will tell you about them. According to the car manufacturer, the vehicles have received a “new” kidney grille, which now has 9 bars instead of the 10 ones. The grille bars are black on the 6-cylinder models and matt aluminum on the V8s. We also have to mentioned the full LED headlights which are now standard across the range, along with the updated indicators. There are also adaptive LED headlights with the Selective Beam anti-dazzle High Beam Assistant, but these are optional.
At the rear BMW has a new horizontal chrome bumper insert, along with the 10 mm larger chrome tailpipe. Speaking about the exhaust system we have to tell you that the carmaker has added a sports exhaust with a switchable valve which is said to add a more intense timbre to the engine soundtrack. The suspension has been slightly updated too and it can be personalized through the Dynamic Damper Control. The 18-inch alloy wheels are contributing to the looks of the vehicle, on the Coupe and Convertible, along with the five new metallic paint finishes like the Melbourne Red, Mediterranean Blue, Glacier Silver, Cashmere Silver and Jatoba.
The engine lineup includes the 640d, coming with 313 HP and 630 Nm of torque, the 640i with 320 HP and 450 Nm of torque, the 650i with its 450 HP And 650 Nm of torque and the range-topping M6 producing 560 HP and 680 Nm. The 640d is available from 62,295 GBP in the Coupe while the M6 is coming in from 92,350 GBP.
