Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman stretches luxury at Geneva
Mercedes-Maybach has unveiled the S600 Pullman at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, extending the S-Class with a 6.5-metre limousine aimed at the ultra-luxury segment.
Mercedes-Maybach has revealed the S600 Pullman at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, reviving the Pullman name for its most opulent S-Class variant yet. At 6,499mm long, the S600 Pullman sits atop the Mercedes passenger car range, targeting heads of state, celebrities and clients seeking maximum privacy and space.
The Pullman extends the S-Class platform by over a metre compared to the standard Maybach S-Class, with a wheelbase of 4,418mm. The car stands 100mm taller, allowing for a raised roofline and a more spacious rear compartment. The layout focuses on chauffeur-driven comfort, with two rear-facing jump seats and two fully adjustable executive chairs that recline up to 43.5 degrees.
Luxury appointments in the rear cabin
Rear passengers are separated from the driver by an electrically operated partition, which can be switched from transparent to opaque. The cabin is finished in high-grade leather, wood trim and features a full-length centre console. Entertainment comes from an 18.5-inch display and a Burmester 3D surround sound system. Roof-mounted dials display speed, outside temperature and time for those in the rear compartment.

V12 power and price positioning
Under the bonnet, the S600 Pullman uses a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 producing 530hp and 830Nm of torque. Mercedes-Maybach has not published acceleration or top speed figures, but the focus is on refinement and comfort rather than outright performance. Pricing starts from around €500,000, placing the Pullman firmly in the ultra-luxury bracket. This makes it a direct rival for stretched limousines from Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
