Kia has released Australian pricing for the 2015 Carnival, with petrol and diesel options spanning four trim levels and a starting price of $41,490 AUD.
Kia has confirmed pricing for the 2015 Carnival people mover in Australia, with the range opening at $41,490 AUD for the entry-level S GDI petrol. The new Carnival, known as the Sedona in other markets, arrives with a choice of petrol and diesel engines and four trim levels.
Carnival range and pricing
The entry-level S GDI is joined by the Si GDI from $45,490, the SLi GDI at $49,990 and the Platinum GDI topping the petrol lineup at $57,490. Diesel buyers pay a premium, with the S CRDI starting at $43,990, Si CRDI at $47,990, SLi CRDI at $52,490 and Platinum CRDI at $59,990. All versions come with a six-speed automatic transmission as standard.

Standard equipment by trim
All Carnival models feature a six-speed auto, ESC, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, roof rails, tinted glass, cruise control, Bluetooth, and manual air conditioning. The S rides on 17-inch steel wheels and uses cloth seats.
The Si trim adds 17-inch alloys, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift, front fog lamps, privacy glass, LED lighting, folding mirrors, an 8-inch sat-nav, DVD player and three-zone climate control. The SLi upgrades to 18-inch wheels, front parking sensors, leather trim, power sliding doors, a smart tailgate, power driver’s seat and smart key with button start.
At the top, the Platinum offers 19-inch wheels, HID headlights with auto levelling and washers, High Beam Assist, ventilated and heated front seats, heated second-row seats, a 7-inch TFT cluster, Blind Spot Detection, Smart Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning.
Engine options and features
Buyers can choose between a petrol GDI engine and a diesel CRDI, with both available across all four trims. The Carnival targets large families and people-mover buyers, offering eight seats and a flexible cabin layout.
