Ram has set US prices for its 2015 1500 Rebel and 1500 Laramie Limited pickups, with the Rebel starting at $42,790 and the Laramie Limited at $50,675. These figures exclude the $1,195 destination charge. The most expensive configuration, the Laramie Limited 4x4 Crew Cab with the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel, is listed from $57,300 before destination.

Rebel: off-road focus and bold styling

The 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel is aimed squarely at buyers seeking a factory-built off-road truck. Its standard equipment includes an increased ride height, tow hooks, 33-inch tyres and a distinctive blacked-out grille with prominent billet silver RAM badging. The Rebel also gets a powder-coated off-road front bumper and 17-inch aluminium wheels. Inside, the cabin features Radar Red and black seating with fabric inserts and Light Diesel Grey accent stitching, setting it apart from other Ram 1500 variants.

Laramie Limited: premium materials and features

At the top of the range, the 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Limited brings a more luxurious specification. The interior is finished in full black leather with unique badges, real wood trim and new console storage designed for mobile devices. Exterior changes include a new grille with bold RAM lettering, extra chrome accents, a large tailgate logo and 20-inch forged multi-surface aluminium wheels. Black premium Berber carpets and subtle stitching accents complete the package.

Engine choices and performance

Both models are available with a choice of engines. The Laramie Limited offers the 3.0-litre V6 EcoDiesel producing 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, with Ram quoting up to 29 mpg. Buyers can also specify the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 or the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 in 4x2 or 4x4 configurations. The Rebel is similarly available with multiple engine options, though its focus is on off-road capability rather than outright luxury.

  • Rebel: off-road suspension, unique grille, 33-inch tyres
  • Laramie Limited: luxury interior, 20-inch wheels, EcoDiesel option

Position in the pickup market

With these pricing announcements, Ram positions the Rebel as a direct rival to other off-road-oriented pickups, while the Laramie Limited targets buyers seeking luxury and technology in a full-size truck. Both models expand the Ram 1500 range for 2015, offering more choice in a competitive US pickup market.
