Performance and Engineering
The new F-Pace SVR is powered by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, which delivers 550hp and 680Nm of torque. This output is channelled to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, enabling the SVR to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in a claimed 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 176mph. These figures make the SVR the most powerful and quickest F-Pace to date, providing a significant step up from the F-Pace S.
Jaguar’s SVO division has equipped the SVR with a strengthened chassis and uprated suspension. The engineers focused on delivering sharper handling and reducing body roll compared to the standard F-Pace. The revised suspension is said to cut body roll by 5 percent over the F-Pace S. An Electronic Active Differential helps manage the increased power, while the braking system features larger discs, 395mm at the front and 396mm at the rear, to provide improved stopping power. The all-wheel-drive system and adaptive dampers have also been specially tuned for the SVR, aiming to balance high performance with everyday usability.
Exterior and Interior Changes
The F-Pace SVR stands out visually thanks to a series of exterior modifications. It receives new front and rear bumpers, larger air intakes, a vented bonnet, and unique side vents. These changes are designed both to improve engine cooling and to enhance aerodynamics. The SVR rides on 21-inch forged alloy wheels as standard, while 22-inch wheels are available as an option. The larger wheels are lighter than those on the standard F-Pace, helping to improve performance and airflow over the brakes.
Inside, the F-Pace SVR maintains the practicality of the standard model, including 33.5 cubic feet of boot space with the rear seats in place. The interior is upgraded with slimline sports seats and a choice of four upholstery colour schemes, each featuring SVR-specific detailing. Standard features include Jaguar’s 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a Wi-Fi hotspot that can support up to eight devices. These enhancements aim to provide a more engaging and luxurious experience for both driver and passengers.
