DMC gives Ferrari 458 Italia a blacked-out Elegante makeover
German tuner DMC and Luxury Custom have transformed a Ferrari 458 Italia with a full black finish and the Elegante body kit, creating a far more aggressive look.
DMC, the German tuning house known for its high-end supercar modifications, has revealed a blacked-out Ferrari 458 Italia featuring the company's Elegante styling kit. The car, prepared in partnership with Luxury Custom, stands out for its deep black exterior and a range of aerodynamic upgrades.
The Elegante kit brings a new front spoiler lip, larger side skirts, a revised rear bumper and a more pronounced diffuser. These changes aim to sharpen the 458 Italia's already dramatic lines and give it a lower, more purposeful stance. The car's windows and taillights have also been tinted, and the standard wheels have been swapped for dark alloys. Yellow brake calipers break up the otherwise monochrome finish.
Visual upgrades and details
DMC's approach with the Elegante kit focuses on exterior styling rather than mechanical changes. The black paintwork is matched by the dark wheels and heavily tinted glass, creating a stealthy appearance. The body kit's components are designed to enhance aerodynamics while maintaining the original proportions of the 458 Italia. The overall effect is a car that looks more aggressive and exclusive than the standard model.
- Front spoiler lip for increased downforce
- Extended side skirts to visually lower the profile
- Redesigned rear bumper and diffuser for improved airflow
No changes have been announced to the Ferrari's 4.5-litre naturally aspirated V8, which in standard form produces 570hp and 540Nm of torque. The engine remains paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, sending power to the rear wheels. DMC has not released any information about performance upgrades or bespoke interior work for this particular build.
Position among 458 Italia specials
The Ferrari 458 Italia remains a favourite among tuners and owners for its combination of sharp handling and naturally aspirated V8 power. While the DMC Elegante kit does not alter the mechanicals, it offers a distinct alternative for those who want their 458 to stand out visually without venturing into the world of extreme bodywork or power upgrades.
