JMS unveils styling and performance upgrades for BMW 4 Series range
JMS has launched a new aftermarket package for the BMW 4 Series Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe, offering revised styling, suspension upgrades and performance enhancements.
JMS has introduced a new aftermarket package aimed at owners of the BMW 4 Series Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe, bringing a mix of visual and performance-focused upgrades. The German tuning firm’s latest kit targets buyers looking to personalise their cars beyond what BMW’s own accessories or other suppliers offer.
Visual upgrades and wheel options
The JMS package starts with a new front lip spoiler, designed to give the 4 Series a sharper, more aggressive look. The aerodynamic piece is compatible with all three body styles. Completing the exterior changes are 19-inch Tomason TN 12 alloy wheels, which replace the standard BMW rims with a multi-spoke design and a more prominent stance.
This approach is typical of JMS, which often focuses on subtle but noticeable styling tweaks rather than radical bodywork changes. The company’s offering is aimed at owners who want their cars to stand out without straying too far from the factory aesthetic.
Suspension and performance enhancements
Beyond the cosmetic changes, JMS is offering a KW coilover suspension system. The kit lowers the ride height by up to 55 mm at the front and 45 mm at the rear, aiming to improve both the car’s stance and its handling characteristics. The lower centre of gravity should benefit cornering, though the drop is substantial enough that owners will need to watch for speed bumps and steep driveways.
Performance upgrades are also available. JMS lists a sports exhaust system, an optimised ECU and a speed pedal, which sharpens throttle response. The company has not provided specific power or torque figures for the ECU tuning, nor has it detailed the exhaust’s effect on sound or emissions. These options are typical of aftermarket tuning packages and allow buyers to tailor the 4 Series’ character to their preferences.
Aimed at owners seeking personalisation
The JMS kit is available for all variants of the new BMW 4 Series, including the Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. By offering a blend of styling and performance parts, JMS is targeting owners who want their cars to look and feel different from standard showroom models but without the extremes of full body kits or major engine swaps.
JMS has not disclosed when deliveries of the kit will begin or whether all parts are available immediately. Owners interested in the package will need to contact JMS or its dealers for availability and installation details.
For buyers considering the 4 Series, the JMS package offers another route to customisation beyond BMW’s own catalogue. The upgrades are designed to be compatible with the current generation, which debuted in 2014.
