Polish Enthusiast Builds Bugatti Veyron Replica from Porsche Boxster
A car builder in Poland has transformed a Porsche Boxster into a Bugatti Veyron replica using hand-shaped fibreglass panels for his own personal project.
A car enthusiast in Poland has undertaken the ambitious task of building a Bugatti Veyron replica using a Porsche Boxster as the foundation. The project, initiated by Orlando M, relies on extensive custom work to mimic the proportions and details of the Veyron, despite the very different mechanical underpinnings.
Most of the replica’s exterior was first shaped in clay before being cast in fibreglass, a process that allowed for a close visual match to the Veyron’s distinctive curves. However, the Boxster’s mid-engined layout and shorter wheelbase presented challenges. The finished car’s rear section is noticeably longer than the original Bugatti, a necessary compromise to accommodate the Porsche’s chassis and engine placement.
The project is not intended for commercial sale. Orlando M has stated that the car is for his own use, and there are no plans to produce additional replicas. The build has attracted attention online, with several videos released showing the process from the initial clay modelling to the fitting of the fibreglass panels.
How the replica was built
The Boxster platform was chosen for its mid-engine layout, which provides a better starting point for a supercar replica than a front-engined donor. The builder began by modelling the new bodywork in clay directly over the Boxster’s frame, adjusting proportions to approximate the Veyron’s low, wide stance. Once satisfied with the shape, fibreglass moulds were created and the panels formed and fitted.

Unlike some replica projects that end up for sale or as kit cars, this Veyron recreation is a one-off. Orlando M’s decision to keep the car for personal use means there are no plans for commercial production or wider distribution. The replica therefore remains a personal statement rather than a business venture.
