Seduction Motorsports is in the final stages of assembling a 550 Spyder replica finished in VooDoo Blue, a colour taken from a unique Porsche 918. The car, named "Voodoo Child," is expected to be fully complete within two weeks, after which it will undergo registration, inspection and a break-in period before being offered for sale.
Build details and specification
The replica features a 2276cc air-cooled engine built by Pat Downs at CB Performance, paired with dual 44 Weber carburettors and a Seduction Motorsports 304 stainless steel exhaust. The engine is topped with a Bernie Bergmann 911 fan shroud. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Seduction Motorsports 3.44:1 Pro-street transaxle, with the company specifying that USA-made internals are used rather than cheaper imported parts. The 3.44:1 ring and pinion ratio is an aftermarket option that Seduction prefers for its balance of highway usability and performance, though a 3.88:1 ratio is available on pre-orders at no extra cost.
The exterior is finished in VooDoo Blue, a shade made famous by a one-off Porsche 918 Spyder. Inside, the car is trimmed in black Alcantara with silver diamond stitching, black carpet and silver CROW 2-point harnesses. Wheels are 15x4.5 inches at the front and 15x5.5 inches at the rear, finished in black hyper gloss and fitted with Dunlop tyres. Aluminium disc brake centre covers complete the look.
