Ford launches Europe-only Mustang Blue and Black Shadow Editions
Ford has introduced two special Mustang variants for Europe, offering exclusive styling and equipment on both GT and EcoBoost models.
Ford has unveiled two Europe-exclusive special editions of the Mustang: the Black Shadow Edition and the Blue Edition. Both models bring unique styling and interior upgrades to the iconic muscle car, with availability tailored to the European market.
Black Shadow Edition details
The Mustang Black Shadow Edition is offered only with the 5.0-litre V8 GT, producing 435 horsepower (324 kW). Despite its name, buyers can choose from four exterior colours: Platinum White, Triple Yellow, Race Red and Grabber Blue. Black styling elements include a black Pony badge on the grille, 19-inch Y-spoke black alloy wheels and a dissolve-effect black stripe running along the hood bulge and side sills.
Inside, the Black Shadow Edition adds black leather heated and cooled front seats with accent stitching. The standard equipment list includes Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen, plus a ShakerPro audio system with 12 speakers and an eight-inch subwoofer in the boot.
Blue Edition highlights
The Mustang Blue Edition pays tribute to the classic Grabber colours first seen in 1969. It is available with either the GT or the 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine. The model is finished exclusively in Grabber Blue, with 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and a dissolve-effect black stripe running centrally along the bonnet and roof.
On the GT version, the Blue Edition includes the same black leather heated and cooled seats and SYNC 3 infotainment as the Black Shadow Edition. EcoBoost buyers get the exterior styling and unique paint, but interior upgrades are specific to the GT.
Position in the Mustang range
These special editions follow previous limited-run Mustangs for Europe, such as the 50th Anniversary models. The Black Shadow and Blue Editions offer buyers a chance to own a more distinctive version of the Mustang, with features not found on standard models.
