Mansory Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe: Power Upgrades Take Centre Stage
Tuning house Mansory has revealed its take on the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe, offering up to 887hp and a suite of visual and mechanical modifications.
Mansory has unveiled an extensive performance and styling package for the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe, pushing the grand tourer’s power output as high as 887hp with its M900 upgrade. The German tuner’s work transforms the already potent S63 into a car that outpaces most rivals for both performance and visual impact.
The M900 package is the headline act, with output rising to 887hp and torque electronically capped at 1,300Nm. For those seeking less extreme numbers, the M720 kit brings power to 709hp and torque to 1,100Nm. Both figures far exceed the standard S63 Coupe’s 593hp and 900Nm, which already put it at the sharp end of the luxury coupe market.
Mansory’s upgrades allow the S63 Coupe to reach a limited top speed of 300km/h. That puts it in a rarefied group of super-luxury coupes capable of sustained high-speed cruising. The company has not published revised acceleration times, but with these power and torque figures, the S63 should comfortably outperform the factory specification.
Visual and chassis changes
Beyond the engine work, Mansory’s package typically includes a more aggressive body kit, larger wheels and bespoke interior trim. The modifications are designed to set the car apart visually as well as mechanically, appealing to buyers who want exclusivity as much as outright pace.
The S63 Coupe’s dimensions remain unchanged at just over five metres long and nearly two metres wide, with a wheelbase of 2,945mm. Its underpinnings are shared with the S-Class saloon, but the Mansory treatment gives it a far more extrovert presence and performance envelope. The car replaces the outgoing CL-Class in Mercedes’ range, cementing its status as the flagship coupe.
Where the Mansory S63 Coupe fits in the market
With the M900 and M720 packages, Mansory is targeting buyers who find the standard AMG offering too restrained. The S63 Coupe’s combination of luxury, technology and now supercar-level performance puts it in contention with tuned Bentleys and Rolls-Royces, as well as high-end electric cars for sheer torque.
