Porsche has published a new gallery of official images for its 911 Black Edition and Boxster Black Edition models, following their initial introduction earlier in 2015. Both variants adopt a black-on-black theme and come with a broader list of standard features compared to their regular counterparts.

The 911 Black Edition is available in both Coupé and Cabriolet forms, as well as with rear-wheel drive (Carrera) or all-wheel drive (Carrera 4). In addition to the black paintwork and interior, these editions come with LED headlights, 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels, and a Bose premium sound system as standard. Other features include an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, Sport Design steering wheel, cruise control and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation.

For the Boxster Black Edition, the package includes 20-inch Carrera Classic alloy wheels, Sound Package Plus, heated seats and dual-zone climate control. Like the 911, the Boxster gets a full black interior and exterior treatment, aligning the two models visually and in terms of equipment. Both cars are powered by their standard engines, with no performance changes over the regular variants.

Pricing and availability

Porsche has set the starting price for the 911 Carrera Black Edition at €95,058, with the Carrera 4 Black Edition beginning at €101,484. The Cabriolet versions start at €105,530 for the Carrera and €111,956 for the Carrera 4. The Boxster Black Edition is priced from €59,477. All models are already available to order.
