Cadillac Ciel Concept Returns in Latest Entourage Trailer
The new Entourage film trailer features the Cadillac Ciel Concept alongside the Escalade and ELR, putting Cadillac’s design centre stage ahead of the June 2015 release.
The Cadillac Ciel Concept is back in the spotlight, appearing in the newly released trailer for the Entourage film, which is set for UK release on 3 June 2015. The open-top luxury concept, first shown at Pebble Beach in 2011, appears alongside production Cadillacs including the Escalade and ELR, continuing the brand’s association with the Entourage franchise.

The Ciel’s appearance marks its second time in Entourage promotional material, following an earlier trailer. Cadillac’s presence in the series is long established, with the Escalade a regular feature throughout the show’s run. For the film, the Ciel Concept’s dramatic proportions and open four-seat layout provide the kind of visual impact that fits the franchise’s focus on Hollywood excess.
Cadillac Ciel Concept specifications

Cadillac has confirmed that the Ciel will remain a one-off concept, but its design cues are expected to influence future production models. The Ciel’s hybrid drivetrain pairs a 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor, sending power to all four wheels. The car’s long wheelbase and pillarless doors are intended to evoke classic American luxury, reimagined for a modern audience.
Cadillac’s role in Entourage
Cadillac’s involvement with Entourage extends beyond the Ciel. The Escalade and ELR also appear in the film, reinforcing the brand’s place in the show’s depiction of Los Angeles celebrity life. The company has stated that its vehicles were chosen for their fit with the film’s characters and setting.
While the Ciel will not reach production, its presence in a high-profile film project keeps Cadillac’s design ambitions in front of a global audience. For more on Cadillac’s latest production models, see Cadillac CT6 to launch with HD video rear-view mirror.
