Lykan Hypersport receives more than 100 orders

W Motors has received more than 100 orders for the Lykan Hypersport, as the company has recently announced.

After seeing it a couple of weeks ago during the 2013 Qatar Motor Show, the W Motors Lykan Hypersport is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing that more than 100 orders have been placed for the model. The Lykan Hypersport is the very first Arab supercar and if you think that a name basically unknown in the automotive industry will develop cheap cars, you’re wrong. In fact, the Lykan Hypersport is anything but cheap, being priced at a whopping 3.4 million USD.

The W Motors’ Lykan Hypersport is coming with a mid-mounted twin turbo flat six-cylinder engine, which is good for 750 HP and 737 lb-ft of torque. This is enough to allow the Arab supercar to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 245 mph (395 km/h). The initial production of the Lykan Hypersport will start in Turin, Italy, but it will eventually move to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha. More details on the on the W Motors Lykan Hypersport will be announced close to its launch.
