Toyota is currently working on a facelifted version of its popular C-segment hatchback, the Auris, which is said to be officially unveiled sometimes next year.
Originally introduced back in 2012 during the Paris Motor Show, in its current shape, the new generation of the Toyota Auris is now getting ready to receive an updated version, as our spy photographers have recently found out after catching it on camera. The images posted below are revealing a test mule of the 2016 Toyota Auris which has camouflaged front fascia and rear end, suggesting that the update will be limited to a simple facelift, for the moment.
The 2016 Toyota Auris facelift will be most likely coming with the “classic” modifications, which will include a modified front bumper, restyled headlights, different front grille, a new rear bumper and probably some different taillights. The interior design of the model will probably get some minor modifications too but the engine lineup will pretty much remain the same. Rumor has it that the facelifted version of the Toyota Auris will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, next September. More details on it remain unknown for the moment but you can check it out in the small photo gallery posted below.
