Ford has launched the 2015 Mustang in Britain, offering both EcoBoost and V8 engines, with the entry price set at £28,995 and a strong standard equipment list.
Ford has officially launched the 2015 Mustang in the UK, offering British buyers the iconic muscle car from £28,995. This marks the first time the Mustang is available through Ford’s UK dealer network in right-hand drive, following its US launch in 2014.
The entry-level Mustang uses Ford’s 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, producing 314hp and 433Nm of torque. The range-topping GT brings a 5.0-litre V8 with 418hp and 524Nm. Ford has dropped the V6 for Europe, so buyers choose between turbocharged four-cylinder efficiency or traditional V8 performance. Both engines are available with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
Standard equipment and specification
Every UK Mustang comes with a high-performance braking system, 19-inch alloy wheels, HID xenon headlights and a nine-speaker audio system. The interior features dual-zone climate control, Ford’s SYNC infotainment with an 8-inch touchscreen, and connectivity options. Ford’s standard kit aims to position the Mustang as a usable everyday coupe as well as a performance car.
