DMC's $2.5m Lamborghini Aventador Concept Unveiled in Renderings
German tuner DMC has revealed renderings of its envisioned Lamborghini Aventador LP1200-4R, featuring radical bodywork, gold accents and a potential 1,200 hp twin-turbo V12, with a projected price tag of $2.5 million.
DMC has released the first renderings of its most ambitious Lamborghini Aventador project to date, envisioning a limited-run supercar with a projected price of $2.5 million. The German tuning house, known for high-profile Lamborghini builds, is proposing a radical overhaul of the Aventador platform that pushes both visual and technical boundaries.
The car, referred to as the LP1200-4R, stands apart from DMC’s previous Aventador projects by combining extreme aerodynamics, extensive use of bespoke body panels, and a dramatic powertrain upgrade. The renderings show a car with enlarged air intakes, an adjustable fin air brake system, and additional vents, all aimed at increasing downforce and cooling capacity. Gold-plated intakes and a set of staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels add to the visual impact.
Twin-turbocharged V12 and performance targets
DMC’s proposal includes a twin-turbo conversion for the Aventador’s 6.5-litre V12, lifting output from the standard 700 hp to a claimed 1,200 hp. The company suggests that, depending on fuel, the engine could be tuned for as much as 1,500 hp. Performance estimates are equally bold: a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 375 km/h (233 mph). The target weight is 1,575 kg, which would keep the power-to-weight ratio firmly in hypercar territory.
