Images showing the interior of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG have surfaced online, offering an early look at the performance saloon’s cabin ahead of its official debut. The leaked photos reveal AMG-specific touches throughout, underscoring Mercedes’ efforts to distinguish the C63 AMG from the standard C-Class.

AMG interior details set apart from standard C-Class

The leaked images show sport leather seats with pronounced bolsters, finished in a style typical of AMG’s performance models. A flat-bottomed steering wheel and AMG-branded dials are prominent, with the speedometer marked up to 320 km/h (200 mph). The Burmester audio system is also visible, confirming that the C63 AMG will feature high-end in-car entertainment as standard or optional equipment.

Other cabin details include AMG-specific trim elements and switchgear, as well as subtle tweaks to the dashboard layout. These features are designed to set the AMG model apart from the regular C-Class, which is already available for order in several markets. The overall impression is of a cabin focused on both luxury and performance, in line with AMG’s positioning within the Mercedes-Benz range.

Engine and performance expectations

While the leaked images focus on the interior, attention remains on the C63 AMG’s engine. Mercedes-AMG is expected to use a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, a new unit also slated for the AMG GT sports car. In the C63 AMG, this engine is anticipated to produce around 480hp, slightly less than the 510hp quoted for the AMG GT. Torque output is expected to be substantial, with figures in the region of 650Nm reported for the related V8.

Exterior and launch timing

Previous spy shots and leaks have already shown the C63 AMG’s exterior, which will feature a more aggressive body kit than the standard C-Class. Changes include larger air intakes, a single-bar grille, unique bumpers, revised side skirts, a rear diffuser and quad tailpipes. A discreet rear spoiler is also likely. These visual updates will help the C63 AMG compete with rivals such as the BMW M3 and Audi RS4, both in appearance and on-road presence.

Mercedes-Benz has not yet confirmed the official launch date for the C63 AMG, but with interior and exterior images now widely circulated, an unveiling is expected soon. The model will join a competitive segment and is set to attract buyers seeking a blend of luxury, technology and high performance.
