Ram Laramie Longhorn trucks offer RV-matching paint option
Ram has introduced an RV Match Brown two-tone paint for 2017 Laramie Longhorn pickups, allowing buyers to match their trucks to popular RV trailer colours.
Ram has added a new RV Match Brown two-tone paint option to its 2017 Laramie Longhorn range, letting buyers colour-match their Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups to popular RV trailer finishes. The new colour replaces White Gold in the palette and became available from the second quarter of 2017.
The RV Match Brown shade is designed to complement a popular brown used on many RV trailers, making it easier for owners to achieve a coordinated look when towing. The brown is applied along the lower edge of the truck, with buyers able to select from Black Forest Green, Bright Silver, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red, Maximum Steel, Pearl White or True Blue for the main body colour.

Choosing the two-tone combination brings a set of 20-inch polished aluminium wheels with brown pockets. For Ram 3500 models with dual rear wheels, the trucks receive polished wheels featuring Laramie Longhorn centre caps. The package is available exclusively on the Laramie Longhorn trim, Ram’s premium specification for buyers seeking luxury features alongside towing capability.
Ram has also made other updates to the 2017 Laramie Longhorn. The front now features a chrome billet port grille with prominent Ram lettering. The 1500 Laramie Longhorn gains standard Keyless Go, active high beam headlights and rain-sensing wipers. For the 2500 and 3500, the Laramie, Laramie Longhorn and Limited trims now come with the 6.4-litre V8 as standard.

The RV Match Brown option is aimed at buyers who want their pickup and trailer to present a unified appearance, especially at campsites or RV parks. For Ram, it is a way to attract customers who value both utility and style, building on the Laramie Longhorn’s reputation for upscale features. The move comes as Ram continues to expand its range of personalisation options for pickup buyers.
