Porsche has launched the online configurator for the Cayman GT4 in the UK, allowing customers to personalise the 385hp sports car ahead of its market arrival.
Porsche has introduced the online configurator for the Cayman GT4 in the UK, giving prospective buyers the chance to specify their ideal version of the brand’s most focused mid-engined coupe. The tool went live shortly after the GT4’s official unveiling, with prices for the car starting at £64,451.
The Cayman GT4 sits at the top of the Cayman range, offering a package aimed at keen drivers who want a road car with serious track credentials. The configurator allows users to select exterior colours, wheel designs, interior trims and a range of performance options, mirroring the approach Porsche has taken with its other GT models.
Performance and technical details
Under the rear deck, the GT4 uses a 3.8-litre flat-six engine producing 385hp at 7,400rpm and 420Nm of torque from 4,750 to 6,000rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox, there is no automatic or PDK option. Porsche claims 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 183mph. The model’s Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time stands at 7 minutes 40 seconds, putting it in the territory of more expensive rivals.

Design and equipment options
The GT4 is marked out by a more aggressive body kit compared to the standard Cayman, including a prominent front splitter, fixed rear wing, large rear diffuser, mesh grille inserts and sportier side scoops. Suspension is lowered by 30mm and the brakes are uprated for track use. The configurator offers a choice of paint finishes, lightweight wheel options, carbon-ceramic brakes, and interior upgrades such as sports seats and Alcantara trim.
